Kettleface is an 9.2%/ 1115 IBU Imperial Red Ale brewed in collaboration between two Central PA breweries; Columbia Kettle Works and St. Boniface (see how it got its name?)

This beer pours to a rustic amber color with a thin white head. Notes of dank hop buds, an earthy spice and light caramel shine through .

While the malts can be tasted on the front end you do not get the sweetness from the caramel as one would expect. Instead the light sweet hop flavor comes through. While being an imperial the alcohol is subtle throughout the glass.
