Sugaree is a 5.5% ABV lactogose from Imprint Beer Company (Hatfield, PA). This was 1 of 2 first cans that Imprint released in October!
Brewed with mango purée, cherry and lime juices, this brew is kettle soured with Himalayan pink sea salt and lactose sugar added.
Pouring to a deep and thick orange color, you’ll get a thin white head in your glass. The aromas we noticed were fruit notes with some lime and salt as well.
Flavors of the fruity mango and cherry were immediately noticeable, with some tart lime as well. The body is creamy throughout with a sweet yet somehow slightly sour lime and salt flavor on he backend.
A multitude of flavors make this a very interesting brew. We are so excited to try more from Imprint soon!
