Vulpulin is a 6% ABV India Pale Ale from Sly Fox Brewing Company (Pottstown, PA). The name comes from Vulpe (the Latin for fox) and Lupulin (the active ingredient in hops that adds flavor and aroma to beer). This beer is brewed with Citra, Mosaic, Centennial, and Cascade.
Pouring to a golden orange color, you’ll get a thick white head in your glass. Aromas of dank citrus, bready malt, and some pine are immediately noticeable. Tasting Vulpulin brings grapefruit, pineapple, and some grass. This is a well balanced IPA starting with a smooth full body, finishing slightly dry with some spicy hop notes.
