Sour Sunday #4 2018
Say “Sayonara!” to summer by getting sour! Join them Sunday, August 26th, as they fill their tap lines with an eclectic array of offerings from their 17,000sqft subterranean Sour Cellar. They’ve been hard at work, carefully crafting and blending a myriad of barrel and foudre aged liquids, and are excited to be able to share some of these projects with their Friends.
The Bear Creek Food Truck Festival
Enjoy some of the area’s finest food trucks at the beautiful surroundings of Bear Creek Mountain Resort. In addition to a wide variety of food trucks, the day will also feature a Beer Garden, Live Entertainment, Lawn games and a large tented area for seating. Join them Sunday, August 26th from 12:00 – 6:00.
Beer for Brains Bar Tour 2018
The Beer for Brains Bar Tour is raising money for the Penn State Philly Scholarship Fund. Join them for a day of drinking for a good cause, and help send kids to college! The event takes place at the Field House from 2:00 – 8:00 PM on Saturday, August 25th,
CENTRAL PA
2 on 2 Cornhole Tournament
On Saturday, August 25th join the Red Rose Restaurant & Lounge for a 2 on 2 Cornhole Tournament. $10 per team with 100% payout. 80/20 split between 1st and 2nd place. Bracket will be set up as a modified single elimination where all participants will have an opportunity to play in this event a minimum of twice and possibly more!
Beverage Express Beer Fest
On Saturday, August 25th stop in to Beverage Express to sample brews from Tröegs Independent Brewing, Victory Beer, Samuel Adams, Evolution Craft Brewing Company and many more! Special pricing on select packaging!

Pittsburgh Brewers Guild Launch Party
Pittsburgh is getting it’s own brewers guild! After months of planning, the Pittsburgh Brewers Guild becomes a reality. Join them on Friday, August 24th to celebrate the launch. There will be 10 Exclusive Collaboration Beers, Commemorative Glassware, Limited Edition pocket Guide 30+ Breweries in attendance, and endless possibilities.
Double Edged Sword Can Release
On Saturday August 25th Grist House releases Double Edged Sword; a New England Style Double Dry Hopped Double IPA that opens with ripe tangerine and grapefruit which then moves into aromas of pear and stone fruit. Expect a full mouthfeel and a smooth easy drinking creaminess. The release takes place at their brewery starting at 2:00.
El Collabo Beer Release
To celebrate the kickoff of the Pittsburgh Brewers Guild, the folks at Couch Brewery, Eleventh Hour Brewing and Abjuration Brewing are releasing a collab! They have created a beautiful Brett IPA at 7% ABV. Come help support the newly formed Pittsburgh Brewers Guild and Pittsburgh Craft Beer. The release will happen Saturday, August 25th at 12:00 at Couch Brewery.
