Moon Calf is an 8.8% ABV double IPA brewed by Cinderlands Beer Co (Pittsburgh, PA). This beer is made with lactose, eukanot and mosaic hops, as well as eukanot lupulin powder.
Pouring to a golden haze with an off white head, you’ll notice aromas of slight hops with underlying malts. We also noticed some lemon and berries on the nose.
Drinking Moon Calf brings flavors of smooth, hoppy bitterness on the front end that subtly fade away. Ripe tropical fruits hit your tastebuds, with a sweet juice finish. This beer is complex, but wow is it good!
