Some Of The Dumbest AI Slop Has Hit PA Craft Beer…

There is no escaping it. AI has come for the craft beer industry. And in the most obvious way possible…. with some of the dumbest content shared on the internet. We tried warning breweries, but it would appear the benefit of using free software outweighs the cost of a designer (odd for an industry charging more for a product in an effort to support local).

And here is some of the sloppiest of AI slop we have seen from PA craft beer in a short period of time….

Can The Kid Legally Drive Back Home?

In an effort to market their big Father’s Day “Meat Feast” a local brewery advertised how family friendly the event would be. However there is one problem. As of this writing children in the United States are not permitted to drink alcohol. It feels that the AI platform this brewery chose to use was unaware of this.

What Does A “Neesesteak” Taste Like?

Not sure what is going on in the image below. But according to the AI platform the “Neesesteak” event was canceled. (While this could be marked up as a simple mistake, the image was proudly posted and as of this writing is still up).

Who Are They?

Now we have the fortunate pleasure of having spent time with the Trogner brothers. For those not familiar, they are the duo behind the one and only Tröegs Brewing. So we are fairly familiar with what they look like. But even if you have never had the pleasure of meeting them, they are pretty well recognized to the public. It would appear that an AI generated Facebook page focused on Pennsylvania culture is unaware of this. Because in a post on their social media page they shared the photo below of two people who have never set foot inside the Tröegs taproom, let alone run the place. (Follow Tröegs on social media for REAL photos of the brothers)

This is clearly just the beginning. The truth of the matter is that running a craft brewery does not always net the cash flow people may think. As such owners have to find cost savings where they can. Sadly it appears these cost savings are coming in the form of damaging brands with some of the dumbest marketing you will see.
