Vienna Red Lager from Iron Hill Brewery

Vienna Red Lager is a 4.4% ABV/22 IBU lager brewed by Iron Hill Brewery (Multiple Locations, PA). This ale is brewed with Saaz hops, and has won multiple awards including: 1999, 2011 GABF Bronze Medal; 2008 GABF Gold Medal; 2008 World Beer Cup Silver Medal.

Pouring to a clear reddish amber color, you’ll get a small head with a good amount of lacing. Aromas of caramel malt, slight bread, floral hops, and honey are apparent on the nose. Tasting this brew brings flavors of earthy hops, caramel, malty undertones, toffee, and a honey sweetness.

Mildly carbonated, this has a lighter body and a dry, floral finish. Can’t wait to see what Iron Hill cans next!
