Gearshifter is a 6.8% American IPA from Stoudts Brewing Company (Adamstown, PA). This beer was the FIRST EVER can release from Stoudts. It was brewed with Cascade and Columbus hops, and then dry hopped with Citra and Mosaic.
Pouring to a hazy dark orange color, we got a large white head in our glass. Aromas of juicy fruit are noticeable with a little malt as well.
Drinking Gearshifter brings flavors of tropical and floral hops, with a nice sweetness upfront and subtle bitterness on the backend. We are looking forward to seeing what Stoudt’s comes out with next!
