State College Brew Expo FAQ’s

The largest ever PA only beer festival, The State College Brew Expo, is coming to Tussey Mountain on August 11th. We’ve heard from many guests who have questions so we wanted to offer these FAQ’s to prepare you for the day.

What time is the event?

The event starts at 5:00 for ALL ticket holders. The day ends at 9:00 PM.


What do I get with my ticket?

All ticket holders will receive a souvenir tasting glass for unlimited beer tasting from a variety of brewers. All ticket holders can enjoy four hours of wonderful live music for entertaining pleasure. All tickets also include admission to the educational beer seminars.


Will there be food at the expo?

Food will be available for purchase a la carte. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase including: Pepsi products and bottled water.


When and Where is VIP?

VIP will be from 5:00 – 7:00 at the top of Tussey Mountain. The only way to get to the VIP section is up the chair lift. VIP includes an “E-ZPass” style entrance, a ride to the top of the mountain.


Who is pouring at VIP?

We are still confirming the breweries, however we have many confirmed already. VIP guests will receive different beers to taste that will not be offered in the general admission area.


Will you have bands?

Yup, live on stage. See the bands here!


Is there Transportation to the mountain?

No shuttles will be available to the mountain. We recommend a car pool service to get to the event. Use code “BIPA” for $5 off your first ride using Lyft.


Can I leave my car overnight?

Car Parking will be available at Tussey Mountain, and yes you can leave them overnight.


Am I allowed to bring an RV?

No RV’s will be allowed at Tussey Mountain
